Charuca’s 4th Anniversary!
Spanish artist Charuca it’s celebrating this month her studio’s 4th anniversary! For the last four years she has created amazing character design, toy design and illustrations. This year Charuca has been very busy launching a beautiful back to school collection (featuring a wide range of notebooks, backpacks and school supplies accessories), participating in multiple events promoting her brand through Europe, and designing her new spring 2010 kids clothing line.
In November, Charuca was part of the BloodSweat Vector art show in Berlin, were she showcased a beautiful print titled “The Kawaii Big Bang”. This month she was also interviewed by RED 17 magazine; where she shared with the readers her teenager memories, favorites celebrities and gave advise on how to become a successful designer.

Rojo Calavera

This year at Art Basel Miami, FriendsWithYou will launch it’s first boutique on Tuesday December 1st from 6PM until 10PM. The boutique will open, accompanied by a new line of limited edition merchandise including apparel, fine art, sculptures, prints and collectible toys. AWESOME!!!!

DesignerCon
This year DesignerCon will bring together artists, manufacturers, distributors and retailers of the vinyl toy/collectible figures market. In this show you can find the latest apparel, plush design, printing, sculpture and toys from renowned artists from around the globe. Among this year’s esclusives are:
- Dragatomi: Amanda Visell will be signing at the Dragtomi Booth for this exclusive release.
- Apex/Toy2R: Toy2R is bringing something for everyone from Kozik, Horvath and more!
- Mr. Toast: Mr. Toast is back with a show exclusive of his famous character in Luchador gear. Es muy caliente!
- Super7: Super7 bring the very first release of a Paul Kaiju figure, Party Ball.
- Buff Monster: Artist Buff Monster will be releasing a series of Exclusives especially made for the DesignerCon.
The show will be November 21st, 2009 from 10am to 5pm at the Pasadena Convention Center.
